YummY! Down on This

Aren’t we the picture of cuddly perfection?

Hubby took this oh so flattering picture of me, having a cuddle with Rusty on the sofa.  I was probably watching something.  I don’t know what that something might have been.

This is what I looked like almost every day after work.  In my jammie bottoms, frumpy t-shirt full of holes, slumpled down on the sofa with or without the dog by my side.

Thankfully this is over for a while.  Yesterday was my last day of work until late December or early January.

To celebrate, I bought a book.

Okay, I would have bought the book regardless.  In fact, I did buy it regardless, preordering it from amazon for 9 bucks.

Stephen King’s “Under the Dome” is one of his huge thousand+ page monsters like I’ve not seen in a while.  So far its been very fast paced and a good read.

However, its really hard to read in the tub, or laying in bed.  And I do A LOT of reading in the tub, or laying in bed.

This morning I’ve done a lot of reading sitting at the kitchen table.

It really is a big book.

Meanwhile, in a few minutes we’ll be leaving the house to go see 2012.  At approx 2 and 1/2 hours long I just hope I can see the whole movie without having to get up and pee 3 times.
