YummY! Down on This

Okay, its not REALLY time, but I’ll never get to look at hubby and say “I think its time” cause the doctors not letting this baby go even one day over his due date.

At around 4pm today I will be checking into Candler Hospital here in Savannah so that they can begin to “ripen” my cervix.  I think thats the funniest phrase in the world.  Ripen….like its a fruit.

Tomorrow morning they will induce labor, if tonight’s “ripening” doesn’t do it on its own.

So, the baby won’t be born today (which also happens to be my daddy’s birthday!) but with any luck will be born tomorrow.

I say “with any luck” because I’m hoping to NOT be in labor for 48 hours or so.  Most everything else has happened just right with this pregnancy, maybe I’ll be lucky in labor too.
