From Christmas Cute to Punk Gurl
Once upon a time there was a little wooden frame all alone on the clearance shelf. It was a deeply discounted christmas object, and since I like little crafty frames, and it was only 20 cents I thought I just had to buy it.
I really wasn’t a fan of the little cottage in the bottom corner, as I didn’t know what I’d put in the frame to match it. So the first thing I did when I got home was pop it off. It popped off easily, but not cleanly. Now I had to find something to cover the spot with.
I had a kids bead necklace kit I’d gotten a while back just because I liked the pink skull. And it seemed to be the perfect size to replace the cottage I had popped off.
So, while Parker napped I painted the frame. Then I fed Parker, then while he napped some more I hot glued the skull and flowers to the frame and strung the beads on a string to hang the frame with between them.
Then I fed Parker again (babies eat a lot)then while he sat in his swing I quickly cross stitched a tiny cross stitch to go with the frame and skull.
What do you think?

I love it! Definitely an improvement over the bland original
