For Luka’s Fans
In the last photo shoot of the little bits and Ezri, Luka was asked for, so I took her out for one last photo shoot.
I’m sad to say that I do believe that very soon we will be saying goodbye to Luka. If she does not pass on her own, we will soon have to decide to help her over the rainbow bridge.
She is around 2 years old now, and most of my girls have lived a little over 2 years, some to 2 and 1/2 years. Once that 2nd year starts creeping up I start preparing.
Luka has had an eye infection for a while that has not been responding to the treatments as they have in the past. Now she has a respiratory infection as well, which is also not responding to treatments and is in danger of turning into Pnumonia.
First, here is a picture of Luka circa June or July of this year:
Now, here is my poor girl today. You can look and see that she has lost a lot of weight.
This is going to be her LAST photo shoot, as it is stressful for her. I only took 4 photos of her tonight and I’m just going to let her RELAX from now on, however long now on might be for her.

We know Luka is furry lucky to have an owner that loves her so much, and we’re glad you’ve had such wonderful times with her. We hope you have a little time left before she has to cross the Rainbow Bridge. She’s a furry sweet rat!

Wow, what a difference in just a couple of months!!! How sad to have to say goodbye after so short a time. At least you and her had a couple of years together. Hopefully she’ll be around for a while longer.
