Young blogger Alicia learned in school that rap music can inspire rats to eat each other (can’t blame ‘em, it makes me crazy too) and they seem to enjoy OLD soothing music.
Hmm…I wonder what mood “Fountains of Wayne†puts my rats in because I often listen to their “Utopia Parkway†album while I’m doing the cleaning.
Glue Traps are BAD
If you must set traps for rats in your home, please use a snap trap. Its usually quick and humane. The glue traps are NEVER quick or humane.

Notice how the WILD rat had had a BAD day stuck in a trap and is probably frightened out of its mind, but it isn’t biting her. Neither did the injured wild rat I tried to help try to bite me. Food for thought?
Last Night I plopped Ezri down on a bookshelf, trying to corral her long enough to get a decent pictrure. She decided she wanted to climb the books.

In the past week this little blog has moved to the front page of entrecard’s pet category. It hasn’t quite made it to the top five yet, but maybe one day.

Ezra is actually quite cute. I’m not a big rat fan, but I am an animal lover. And I would never, ever, ever use glue traps. They are horrible.

I watched the video from Animal Planet, poor little rattie. I’m so glad they called the SFC&C to take care of it or who knows what would have happened to it. Other then looking totally confused and frightened the little rattie looks so much like our beloved “fancy” rats. I just wish they would have shown it being released or at least how it was doing the next day. Thank you for taking the time to write this very interesting and informative blog.
